The delicious real flavor of strawberry and mango

Are you looking for a natural toothpaste for kids? Did you know our children’s toothpaste varieties use real juice and fruit extracts from strawberries and mangos? They also include no artificial dyes and no artificial sweeteners.

If your family enjoys the toothpaste, you might also enjoy this Strawberry-Mango Crisp recipe! Of course, the recipe can be changed to use fruits in season in your part of the country… perfect for a late summer blueberry crisp, or fall apple crisp!

You’ll need…

6 cups fruit (I went with a ratio of 2/3 mango, 1/3 strawberries)

Strawberry Mango Crisp

2 T brown sugar

1 T flour

1 T lemon juice

Topping:

2/3 cup flour

1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)

1/2 cup oatmeal

3/4 t cinnamon

4 1/2 T chilled butter or butter substitute – I used a vegan spread that worked great!

(These amounts are for an 11×7 baking dish, but slight adjustments will allow you to use any size dish. Use 8 cups fruit for a 9×13 pan.)

Preparation…

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine first 4 ingredients and spoon into greased dish. Make topping by combining remaining dry ingredients, and then cut in butter or butter substitute with a blender. Sprinkle over fruit. Bake 20 minutes… and enjoy!
